It gives me immense pleasure to share my views about Dr. Aniruddha Maity. He is a remarkably gifted and dedicated vitreo-retinal surgeon , known not only in Eastern India, but is a vitreo-retinal surgeon of repute Nationally and Internationally.
He has numerous publications in National and International indexed journals and has won several National and International awards.
However, to me, it is his clinical acumen, surgical skill and compassion that endears him to his patients and colleagues. A man of few words, his honesty and integrity shines in all his dealings.
I wish him the very best in all his future endeavours.

It gives me immense pleasure to write a few words about Dr Aniruddha Maiti.I have known Dr Aniruddha Maiti from the year 2006,when he was student at the Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital at Mumbai.He was a keen and hardworking student who always was hungry to learn more. He completed his thesis successfully in the very difficult field of retinal electrophysiology.
Over the years I have witness him grow in stature from a junior consultant to a senior vitreoretinal surgeon. He has demonstrated exemplary skill as a consultant vitreoretinal surgeon. However through the years he has remained focussed on academics in the field of vitreous and retina.
He is a regular speaker at various national and international conferences. It is indeed a great matter of pride to have conducted instruction courses with him at All India Ophthalmological Society & internationally at the American Society of Retina Specialists Annual Conference.
He has awarded Senior Honours Award by the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has also been awarded the Fellowship of the American Society of Retina Specialist for his exemplary work.
He is now moving on to a new phase in his career with embarking on a private practice. I wish this bright student ,my colleague all the very best for the future. He will be a very precious asset to any institute he is associated with.
